Kohima, Sep 26, Sept. 27 -- The Assam Rifles is conducting a Seema Darshan Tour for 20 students and two teachers of Government Higher Secondary School, Rusoma village in Kohima, providing them an opportunity to experience the country's border areas, military heritage and national security environment. The tour, being held from September 19 to 28, was flagged off by Maj Gen H S Mavi, IGAR (North).As part of the ongoing tour, the students have visited Tenga, Shergaon and Tawang, gaining first-hand exposure to the region's diverse landscape, heritage and strategic importance.The itinerary included visits to the Bum La Pass, Sangetsar Tso and the historic Tawang Monastery.
