Srinagar, Mar 30, March 31 -- Srinagar witnessed significant waterlogging on Monday following heavy rainfall that hit the city and surrounding areas, causing traffic snarls and disruption in normal life. Several low-lying areas, including Rainawari, Rajbagh, Sonwar, and Batmaloo, were reportedly inundated, leading to inconvenience for commuters and residents. Officials from the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) confirmed that the drainage system in some parts of the city struggled to cope with the sudden downpour, resulting in water accumulation on main roads and residential localities.
