Aizawl, Feb 5, Feb. 6 -- On the occasion of World Cancer Day 2026, Indian Army and Assam Rifles units under Spear Corps conducted extensive cancer awareness initiatives across northeastern states, including Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, and Assam. The campaigns included medical lectures, screening camps, expert symposiums, and survivor interactions, aimed at educating communities about early detection, prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices.
