SKIMS Bemina Suspends Five MBBS Students, Interns Over Ragging Incident
Srinagar, Oct 2, Oct. 2 -- SKIMS Medical College Hospital, Bemina has suspended five MBBS students and interns for a week and imposed a Rs.10,000 fine on each following their reported involvement in a ragging incident. An order issued by the Principal said the action was taken after the institution's Anti-Ragging Committee recommended disciplinary measures against the five individuals for violating the University Grants Commission (UGC) Anti-Ragging Regulations. Those facing action include Shubham Verma and Sunil Verma of the 2023 batch, Shahdev of the 2024 batch, and interns Rupal Suntal and Lavish Sharma from the 2021 batch.
