Poonch, July 26, July 26 -- Seven days after flash floods devastated Murrah village in Surankote subdivision of Poonch district, six people remain missing, while local residents continue search efforts with limited resources. The flash floods, triggered by heavy rainfall, claimed eight lives and caused widespread damage to homes, roads, and public infrastructure. Despite a week having passed since the disaster, the missing persons have not been traced. Residents said the road leading to the village remains blocked, forcing them to carry out search operations on their own with minimal equipment.
