Srinagar, Aug. 30, Aug. 31 -- The grandmother of senior journalist Fayaz Wani passed away at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, on Sunday following a brief bout of illness. She was 90. Her demise has left the family and those who knew her in deep grief. Despite having lived through nine decades, she was remembered for her simplicity, humility and an unassuming way of life.Those close to the family described her as a pious and religious-minded woman who remained deeply attached to faith and spiritual values.
