Srinagar, June 12, June 13 -- A school bus driver was killed, and two students were injured after a bus skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in central Kashmir's Budgam district on Friday.Officials said the school bus of IPTS School from Khansahib met with the accident at village Neego Brenwar while passing through the area.In the accident, the driver of the bus identified as Shahid Ahmad Lone, a resident of Kechwari Khansahib, died on the spot.Two students from Raiyar Khansahib were also injured in the accident.The injured students were initially shifted to a health centre at Surasyar and later referred to Sub-district Hospital Chadoora for treatment.
