Srinagar, Aug. 25 -- Famed writer, poet & thinker Dr Satish Vimal has been conferred Khillat-e-Balkhi (Balkhi Memorial Award) 2025, the annual honour of Nowsoz People's Foundation at Pakherpora. This award is granted to one personality every year for exemplary contribution in the field of Sufi-Rishi studies or intellectual traditions. This award has been administered in the name of famed Sufi Saint Sultan Ali Aali Balkhi whose shrine is at Pakherpora.
