Srinagar, Aug 5, Aug. 6 -- Residents of Lower Rajwar are set for major relief as the long-pending Lower Rajwar Raw Water Main Project is in its final stage and likely to be made operational later this week.The project, executed by PHE Division Handwara/Baramulla under Executive Engineer Aijaz Ahmad, involves installation of a 9-km long, 200 mm DI pipeline to carry raw water from the source to the filtration plant and service reservoir.Once commissioned, the scheme will augment drinking water supply to nearly 25,000 residents across 13 villages of the Rajwar area.
