Srinagar, May 4, May 5 -- Light to moderate rainfall was recorded in plains across Kashmir on Monday while few upper reaches received light snow bringing a dip in day temperatures. A MeT official said Srinagar received 11.2 mm of rainfall between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm while tourist resorts of Pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded 10.4 mm and 10.2 mm respectively during the same period.Kupwara in north Kashmir saw 4.4 mm of precipitation, while Kokernag and Qazigund in south Kashmir recorded 2.2 mm each.The rainfall led to below-normal maximum temperatures across the Valley.Srinagar recorded a maximum of 20.5degC, which is 2.2degC below normal.Similarly, Qazigund and Kupwara reported maximum temperatures of 19.6degC and 20.8degC, around 2degC to 3de...
