Srinagar, March 30, March 31 -- The upper reaches of the Valley received another spell of snowfall while the plains including Srinagar were lashed by moderate to heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has forecast intermittent rain and snow in the Valley till April 10."Moderate to heavy rainfall was recorded in many areas of South and North Kashmir today," a MeT official said.He said Qazigund recorded the highest rainfall of 35 mm between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm, followed by Kokernag, which received 17 mm, and Pahalgam with 14 mm of rainfall.Srinagar recorded 8.8 mm rainfall during the day, while Kupwara received 12.4 mm and Gulmarg recorded 7.8 mm rainfall.The maximum temperatures across the Valley stayed below normal due to widespread r...
