Jammu, July 16, July 17 -- With the aim of promoting passenger as well as freight traffic and giving new momentum to regional trade in Jammu Division, Northern Railway, Jammu Division has inaugurated a new Goods Shed at Pampore (PMPE) Railway Station located on the Baramulla-/Sangaldan rail section. Following approval from the competent authority, the Goods Shed has commenced operations with immediate effect. This is the second Goods Shed in the Kashmir Valley under Jammu Division after Anantnag, and marks a significant milestone towards the economic development of the region.
