Awantipora, Oct 26, Oct. 27 -- A man was booked by police in Awantipora after a urine test confirmed the presence of cannabis, following his detection in an allegedly intoxicated state during routine patrolling by cops at Dogripora. According to police, a police party of Police Post Reshipora, headed by Incharge Police Post SI Meheraj-ud-Din, found an individual in an intoxicated state during patrolling at Dogripora along the Jhelum bund and he was brought him to PHC Panzgam for medical testing.The urine drug screening test returned positive for THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), a psychoactive substance found in cannabis.The person was identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, son of Gh.
