Mar 25, March 26 -- Acting tough against the social crimes, J&K Police in Awantipora have arrested three gamblers in Tral and seized stake money from their possession. Acting on a specific information regarding gambling activities at Tral, a police party of Police Station Tral headed by SHO Police Station Tral raided the specific spot and arrested the three gamblers. They have been identified as Jalal-ud-Din Sheikh son of Ab Ahad resident of Nowdal Tral, Mohd Yousuf Shah son of Mohd Akram Shah resident of Takiya Gulab Bagh and Imtiyaz Ahmad Mohand son of Mohd Akram Mohand resident of Shair Abad Tral.Officers have seized stake money of Rs.11,450/- and playing cards from their possession.
