Kulgam, July 11, July 12 -- Continuing its unwavering efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, J&K Police have arrested 02 drug peddlers in Kulgam and recovered contraband substance from their possession. A police party led by SHO Police station Qazigund established a checkpoint at Wanpora near bridge. During checking one vehicle (Hyundai I20) bearing registration no JK01BA-6269 with two persons on board was intercepted. After search, officers were able to recover 13.8 gram of Heroin like contraband substance, one digital weighing machine and a silver foil from their possession in the said vehicle.
