Srinagar, Aug. 15 -- Tree plantation drives were organised across Assam and Manipur under the #EkPedMaaKeNaam campaign, bringing together soldiers, students, veterans and local residents in a collective effort to promote environmental conservation and sustainability. In Assam, plantation activities were held at Bishnupur and Tinsukia, with participants planting saplings and highlighting the importance of protecting the environment and expanding green cover.Similar drives were conducted across several locations in Manipur, including Maibum, Bishnupur, Aina, Veng, Khuga, Singhat and Churachandpur.
