Srinagar, May 20, May 21 -- Continuing its intensified crackdown against drug trafficking and narcotics peddling, police achieved another success by apprehending five drug peddlers including wanted heroin supplier in Anantnag, Baramulla and Ganderbal and recovering contraband substances from their possession. A Police party from Police Post Dialgam had established a naka at Chechripora Bypass Crossing for routine checking intercepted a suspicious person who tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully. During his search, contraband substance, apparently heroin-like substance, was recovered from his possession.
