Jammu, June 19, June 20 -- With the objective of creating awareness among passengers to travel with valid tickets and to prevent revenue loss, a surprise ticket checking drive was conducted today, 19 June 2026, in Train No. 26404 under the leadership of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Jammu, Shri Uchit Singhal in Jammu Division, Northern Railway. The main objective of the drive was to curb passengers traveling without tickets. During the inspection, 51 passengers were found traveling without tickets or without reservation, and administrative action was taken against them, with a penalty of Rs.40,650/- realized.
