NIT Srinagar to host NCM-funded maths school
Srinagar, June 4, June 5 -- The Department of Mathematics at the National Institute of Technology Srinagar will organise a two-week Instructional School on "Theoretical and Numerical Aspects of PDEs: Application to Flow Dynamics" from June 29 to July 11, 2026, under the Advanced Training in Mathematics (ATM) programme of the National Centre for Mathematics.The programme, funded by NCM-a joint initiative of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research-will be held at the Hazratbal campus and aims to strengthen understanding of Partial Differential Equations (PDEs), numerical methods, and their applications in fluid dynamics.Programme Convenor Dr. Atendra Kumar said the school has been designed to provide...
