Srinagar, Sep 17, Sept. 17 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Health Mission Employees Association (JKNHMEA) on Thursday announced that its ongoing peaceful protest and strike across the Union Territory will be extended by another 72 hours from September 18, 2026. In a communication addressed to the Mission Director, National Health Mission, J&K, the association said the extension was necessitated by the continued pendency of its long-standing demands and the absence of a concrete, time-bound resolution from the authorities.
