Srinagar, Oct. 25 -- The ruling National Conference (NC) secured three out of four Rajya Sabha seats while the opposition BJP caused an upset by winning the remaining one seat in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. The NC had fielded four candidates on four seats while BJP had fielded three candidates.A total of 87 votes were polled in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, which has a current strength of 88 members.
