The killing of a labourer from Chhattisgarh in Jammu and Kashmir is not merely another act of violence; it is an assault on humanity itself. Such cowardly attacks deserve the strongest condemnation from every section of society. He was an ordinary citizen who had travelled hundreds of kilometres from his home in search of honest work and a better future for his family. Like thousands of migrant workers across the country, he came to Kashmir to earn a livelihood through hard work and dignity. What was his fault?
