Srinagar, Mar 30, March 31 -- Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister Sakeena Itoo on Monday directed strict action against private schools involved in arbitrary fee hikes and violations of prescribed norms, stressing that exploitation of parents will not be tolerated. Chairing a review meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education at the Civil Secretariat, the Minister asked officials to ensure regular monitoring and inspections of private institutions, including CBSE-affiliated schools."Any attempt to impose unjustified financial burdens on parents must be dealt with firmly," she said, directing the formation of inspection committees comprising officials from the School Education Department and JKBOSE.The meeting reviewed key ...
