Man Injured in Bear Attack at Tosamaidan, Shifted to SMHS Hospital
Budgam, July 17, July 17 -- A man was injured after being attacked by a bear in the Tosamaidan area of central Kashmir's Budgam district on Friday. The injured has been identified as Mohd Abdullah, a resident of Shunglipora, Budgam. According to local residents, Abdullah was in Tosamaidan when the bear attacked him. On hearing his cries, nearby people reached the spot, rescued him and shifted him to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Khag for treatment. After providing first aid, doctors referred him to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for specialised treatment, considering the injuries sustained in the attack.
