Ramban, Oct 4, Oct. 4 -- A man died after falling through a gap in the Gangroo-Ramsoo flyover amid a traffic jam late Saturday night, officials said. The incident occurred when the man got out of his vehicle and attempted to cross to the other side of the flyover. He reportedly fell through a gap in the middle section of the structure and died at the spot. A major traffic jam had developed in the Gangroo and Hingni areas after a truck broke down, leading to prolonged disruption of vehicular movement. The deceased was taken to a hospital for medico-legal formalities, where he was identified as Hatish Sharma, a resident of Udhampur. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the incident.
