Srinagar, Oct. 8 -- We should also be careful not to turn this into an argument that everything about the past was better. Earlier childhoods had their own limitations, and many children did not have access to opportunities that today's children have. Technology has opened doors that previous generations could not even imagine. Children can learn languages, explore science, communicate across continents and discover interests through digital platforms. The aim should not be to return childhood to another era. It should be to preserve what was valuable while accepting what is useful about the present.
