Srinagar, Sep 9, Sept. 9 -- Panic gripped the Shirbibi area of Ramban district on Wednesday morning after a leopard was spotted roaming in the locality, prompting residents and concerned teams to launch a search operation. The leopard had reportedly been moving through the area since early morning, triggering fear among locals. Residents, along with officials, immediately began tracking the animal and worked to locate it safely. After several hours of sustained efforts, the leopard was successfully captured at around 11:30 am in Shirbibi. Officials said the situation in the area is normal and under control following the capture. The development brought relief to residents who had remained concerned over the animal's presence.
