Srinagar, Dec. 17 -- The Lok Sabha on Monday approved additional expenditure of Rs.2,504.46 crore for the Union Territory of Ladakh, to be transferred to Jammu and Kashmir as part of the apportionment of liabilities between the two UTs following the 2019 reorganisation of the erstwhile State. The allocation is part of the Finance Ministry's supplementary demands for grants for 2025-26. Ladakh has been assigned 2% of the total liabilities of the former state, amounting to Rs.2,504.46 crore.
