Srinagar, Aug 12, Aug. 12 -- The Allama Iqbal Library (AIL), University of Kashmir (KU), organised a one-day capacity-building programme for Library and Information Science (LIS) professionals on the theme "Smart Libraries, Skilled Librarians, and Smiling Users" at the University's Main Campus on the eve of National Librarians' Day.The programme aimed to familiarise library professionals with emerging practices in library and information services, with emphasis on technology-enabled libraries, changing user expectations, digital resources and professional skills required for contemporary library management.
