Srinagar, Sept. 14 -- The University of Kashmir has introduced stricter financial controls for seminars, conferences, workshops, cultural programmes and other official events organised by its academic and administrative units. The directions have been issued by the University's Development Section and are applicable to Deans, Heads of Departments, Directors and Coordinators responsible for organising such programmes. As per the instructions, expenditure on university-sponsored events must be restricted to the sanctioned budget or available grants.
