Srinagar, July 22, July 22 -- In a major step towards strengthening student participation in university governance, the University of Kashmir on Tuesday convened the first meeting of the Kashmir University Students' Council (Class Representatives) for the Academic Session 2026 at Gandhi Bhawan.Organised by the Department of Students' Welfare (DSW), the meeting brought together more than 200 Class Representatives from the University's teaching departments and satellite campuses, providing a common platform to engage directly with the University leadership on issues related to student welfare, academics, infrastructure and campus development.The meeting was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nilofer Khan and attended by Dean Academic Affairs ...
