Srinagar, Dec. 2 -- Kashmir remained in grip of intense cold on Monday despite marginal improvement in the night temperatures. A MeT official said Srinagar recorded a minimum of -1.9degC, a sharp improvement from -4.4degC during the previous night.Qazigund in south Kashmir settled at -1.0degC against -3.0degC, while the tourist resort of Pahalgam registered -0.4degC compared to the previous -5.6degC.In north Kashmir, Kupwara recorded a night temperature o -3.2degC, easing from -5.0degC a night earlier.South Kashmir's Kokernag saw temperatures climb to 0.2degC from -1.2degC, and the ski resort of Gulmarg recorded 0.3degC, up significantly from -1.4degC the previous night.The Meteorological Department has predicted mainly dry weather across...
