JCO, 3 soldiers injured in accidental mine blast along LoC in Rajouri
Jammu, June 16, June 17 -- Four Army men including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) were injured in an accidental landmine blast along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district on Tuesday.Sources said the blast occurred in a forward area along the LoC when a landmine accidentally exploded during operational activity, leaving four soldiers including a JCO injured.The injured soldiers were evacuated to nearby hospital, where from they were airlifted to army hospital, Udhampur for specialized treatment.Sources said the blast was caused by accidental activation of a landmine during area domination patrol by Army personnel in forward Kalal area of Nowshera sector.The Nowshera sector, situated along the Line of Control...
