Srinagar, Aug 9, Aug. 10 -- The Meteorological Department has forecast a prolonged spell of rain and thundershowers across Jammu and Kashmir till 19 with intense showers and the possibility of flash floods in vulnerable areas. A MeT official said from August 9-11, most places are expected to receive light to moderate rain and thundershowers."However, a few districts of Jammu division may witness heavy to very heavy rainfall. Kashmir division is also likely to see brief but intense heavy showers at isolated places.
