Srinagar, Sep 24, Sept. 24 -- Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather on Thursday sought details from Transport Minister Satish Sharma over the use of multiple government vehicles by officers holding additional departmental charges. The issue came up during proceedings of the ongoing Assembly session, with Rather questioning the rationale behind providing separate vehicles to officers who have been assigned more than one department. Rather asked why an officer holding an additional charge should require a separate vehicle belonging to that department.
