Jammu, Oct 26, Oct. 26 -- A massive fire broke out at Shiv Market near Jammu Railway Station late Sunday night, gutting around 50 shops and a hotel and causing extensive damage to commercial establishments in the area. The blaze engulfed several businesses, including dry fruit outlets, bakeries, electronic shops, lodges and other commercial units, reducing much of the market to ashes and leaving traders facing substantial financial losses. According to officials, the fire broke out around midnight, prompting an immediate response from the Fire and Emergency Services.
