Srinagar, July 19 -- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday reviewed the flood situation in Rajouri and Poonch districts following incessant rainfall and flash floods, directing authorities to ensure immediate relief and assistance to affected families. In a statement, the Lieutenant Governor said he spoke to senior officials to assess the situation and was informed that rescue teams from the civil administration, police, Army, SDRF and local volunteers are actively engaged in rescue and relief operations, particularly in Rajouri district.
