Awantipora, April 20, April 21 -- The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), under its Community Connect Initiative, organised an Autism Awareness Programme at SDH Tral, Aripal, and Dadasara. The programme was organised by Syed Mantaqi Memorial College of Nursing and Medical Technology with the aim of spreading awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) among the local community, promoting early identification and intervention for children with developmental difficulties, reducing stigma and misconceptions about autism, and encouraging parents and caregivers to seek professional help when developmental delays are noticed.
