IGP Kashmir Reviews Security Preparedness In Handwara, Calls For Public-Friendly Policing
Handwara, Sep 20, Sept. 20 -- Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, Sujit Kumar, on Sunday visited Handwara to review the security situation, counter-terrorism measures, law and order preparedness and overall operational readiness in the area. IGP Kashmir was accompanied by DIG North Kashmir Range, Dr Vinod Kumar. During the visit, SSP Handwara Tahir Saleem Khan briefed the IGP on various security and operational aspects, including ongoing counter-terrorism operations, intelligence inputs, area domination measures, security of vulnerable locations and the overall crime situation.
