Srinagar, Sep 1, Sept. 1 -- Jammu and Kashmir is likely to witness generally hot and humid weather on Tuesday, with light to moderate rain and thundershowers expected at many places, according to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar. The weather department has forecast brief spells of intense rainfall in some areas, particularly across parts of the Jammu division during the early morning and late afternoon or evening hours. Authorities have cautioned that intense localized showers could trigger flash floods, mudslides and landslides in vulnerable areas.
