Srinagar, Aug. 20 -- Open violation of traffic rules has become a growing concern in Srinagar, where bikers are frequently seen riding without helmets or valid licenses. The practice, according to respectable citizens, has now become a new normal in the city.Eyewitnesses said that even minors, including girls, openly drive two-wheelers on busy roads without wearing helmets or carrying licenses. In many cases, bikers are seen hanging their helmets on the back of the motorcycle rather than wearing them.What has alarmed people further is that such violations are not confined to interior or link roads.
