Jammu, March 16, March 17 -- The government has launched the PM-Road Accident Victims Hospitalization and Assured Treatment (PM-RAHAT) Scheme, aiming to provide timely medical aid to the road accident victims. According to an official communique received in this regard from Transport Department , the initiative ensures cashless treatment up to Rs.1.5 lakh per victim in over 140 designated hospitals during the critical "Golden Hour", covering up to 7 days from the accident date, thereby ensuring immediate medical care and significantly improving the chances of survival.All the concerned departments including the Transport, Health, Police and district administration shall work in close coordination for effective implementation of the scheme...
