Srinagar, Aug. 3 -- India's fight against drugs has entered a decisive phase with Prime Minister Narendra Modi launching the 100-week nationwide "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan." More than a government programme, the campaign seeks to transform the anti-drug movement into a nationwide people's mission led by the youth. Its success, however, will depend not on the number of rallies, pledges or slogans, but on whether it can rescue vulnerable young lives from the grip of addiction.
