Imphal, Aug 25, Aug. 26 -- Intelligence-based joint operations conducted by formations under the Spear Corps, in coordination with the Manipur Police and Central Security Forces, led to the apprehension of four insurgent cadres and the recovery of 21 weapons, ammunition and other war-like stores across four districts of Manipur. The operations were carried out between August 16 and 23 in Tengnoupal, Churachandpur, Thoubal and Kakching districts, based on specific intelligence inputs regarding the presence and activities of insurgent elements.According to officials, four insurgent cadres were apprehended during the coordinated operations.
