Anantnag, July 13, July 13 -- The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited, KPDCL, has announced a planned shutdown of the 11 KV Batkoot feeder to facilitate infrastructure upgrades on the electricity transmission network. An official order issued by the Superintending Engineer, Operation and Maintenance Circle, Bijbehara, stated that the shutdown has been approved to allow the installation of GI cross arms and GI channel iron for the newly relocated 33 KV transmission line originating from the Batkoot Receiving Station. As per the schedule, electricity supply through the Batkoot feeder will remain suspended on July 14, 16, 18 and 20 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm each day.
