Srinagar, June 7, June 8 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Kashmir, of Crime Branch J&K has filed a chargesheet in FIR No. 05/2026 under Sections 420, 468, and 471 RPC before the Hon'ble Court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Sumbal, against two accused persons: Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, son of Mohammad Jawad Bhat, and Assadullah Bhat, son of Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bhat, both residents of Rakhi Shilwat, Sumbal, District Bandipora, for offences relating to Cheating and Forgery. Investigation found that the accused concealed their educational qualifications, falsely claimed illiteracy, and obtained altered dates of birth through fraudulent certificates.
