Srinagar, Aug. 31 -- Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, on Monday visited the Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences(IMHANS) to review the preparedness for implementation of the Phase-I rollout/Pilot of the Rehabilitation & Socio-Economic Reintegration Scheme for Drug Abuse Victims, 2026. The pilot programme is being coordinated by the Social Welfare Department aimed at testing the rehabilitation model on the ground, identify operational gaps, refine the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and generate necessary learnings for its subsequent expansion across Jammu and Kashmir.
