Srinagar, Dec. 22 -- Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), today chaired a high-level review meeting with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) to assess the status and performance of street-lighting and other energy efficiency initiatives being implemented across the city. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the functioning of energy-efficient LED street lights, with particular emphasis on improving illumination levels, reducing power consumption, and ensuring uninterrupted lighting in residential areas, commercial hubs, and major traffic corridors.
