Srinagar, Oct. 30 -- Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Dr. Basharat Qayoom, today reviewed the progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0 (PMAY-U 2.0), taking stock of the application process, beneficiary verification and measures being undertaken to ensure that eligible families can avail themselves of the benefits of the scheme without unnecessary delays. During the meeting, the Commissioner stressed the need to expedite the verification and scrutiny of applications, particularly those pending at various levels.
