Srinagar, August 8, Aug. 8 -- The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Saturday carried out simultaneous search operations at multiple locations in Anantnag and Shopian districts, officials said. In Anantnag, CIK personnel searched the residence of Shada Bano, wife of Ata Mohammad Qazi, at Hiller Shahabad in Dooru. In Shopian, a CIK team under the supervision of DYSP Showkat Abdullah conducted a search at the residence of Gulzar Ahmad Wani, son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani, in Hushangpora, Zainapora. Officials said the searches were linked to FIR No. 03/2023 registered at Police Station CIK Srinagar under Sections 505 and 153-A of the IPC and Sections 13 and 18 of the UAPA.
